Man Fatally Injured After Walking Between NYC Subway Cars: NYPD

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A man was killed on Friday night after falling onto subway tracks while walking between cars, police said.

The man, whose name police have not released, was riding a C train that had departed the 14th Street and Eighth Avenue station at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday. He was walking in between the subway cars when he fell onto the tracks, police said.

He was fatally struck by the train after falling and pronounced dead at the station, according to the NYPD.
