Man Found Dead In The Hudson River, Police Say
A 38-year-old man was found dead in the Hudson River near Greenwich Village on Sunday morning, according to police.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A man was found dead floating in the Hudson River near Greenwich Village on Sunday morning, police said.
The cause of death was not immediately clear. Police said that officers responded to a 911 call at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday to find the man in the river near Jane Street in Greenwich Village. The man, 38, was found fully clothed and was unconscious and unresponsive before he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.
Police have not publicly identified the man. The city's medical examiner will determine his cause of death while the investigation continues, police said.
