Man Found Dead In West Village Backyard, Police Said

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A young man was discovered dead in the back of a West Village apartment building Thursday morning, police said.

The victim was found in the back yard of 160 Waverly Place near Grove Street just before 8 a.m., authorities said.

The man, who police say was in his 20s, suffered injuries that could be linked to a fall, officials said.
