Knifepoint Greenwich Village Mugger Treats Himself To A Slice: NYPD

A Greenwich Village mugger robbed a man then took his stolen credit card to a nearby pizzeria, according to the NYPD.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A mugger attacked at knifepoint in Greenwich Village then treated himself to a slice, police said over the weekend.

The robber grabbed a 30-year-old man near Carmine and Bedford streets on Sept. 24 about 3:50 a.m., police said.

The mugger flashed a small pocket knife, took the man's wallet and ran away, said police.

The robber appeared soon after at Five Boy's Pizza, at 206 Varick St., where he used the 30-year-old's credit card, police said.

There were no injuries reported by police.
