Man Stabbed In Chest In Washington Square Park: Police

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man was stabbed in the chest in Washington Square Park early Monday morning, police said.

A 31-year-old was in the Lower Manhattan park around 2 a.m. when he was stabbed, police said.

He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.

NYPD are now looking for two men who fled the park and are believed to be responsible, police said.

Police did not have any information about where the man was in the park or what led to the attack.
