NYC Snags 24 Spots On Open Table's Top 100 Restaurants In U.S.

American and Italian cuisine dominated the annual ranking of the country's top eateries by the restaurant-reservation service.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Foodies have 24 New York City restaurants to add to their bucket lists.

Online restaurant-reservation service Open Table announced their top 100 restaurants in America with the Big Apple landing nearly a quarter of the coveted spots.

The restaurants range from high-brow favorites to hidden gems with American and Italian cuisine dominating the list closely followed by French, Indian and Japanese.

Behind New York, California snagged a respectable 15 spots and Illinois scored nine on the restaurant roundup. Open Table created the list from combing through diner reviews gathered between Nov. 1, 2017 and Oct. 31, 2018.
