WEST VILLAGE, NY — A person was hit by a car in the West Village early on Monday morning, officials said.

The person was struck on West 12th Street near Greenwich Street about 12:40 a.m., fire officials said.

First responders rushed to the scene where they found the victim, who then refused medical attention, officials said.

Police had no information on the driver or any identifying information about the vehicle when asked on Monday morning.
