Popular Pizza Joint Opens In Greenwich Village: Location, Menu
Pizza lovers rejoice. SIMO opened its second New York City location on Tuesday in the heart of Greenwich Village.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Greenwich Village residents have a new pizza option as SIMO opened in the neighborhood on Tuesday.
The new location is at 75 University Place, on the corner of East 11th Street.
SIMO first opened not far from the Village in the Meatpacking District in 2018 with Simone Falco — a Naples-born chef — at the helm in the kitchen.

The new Greenwich Village location "boasts a bright and airy space inspired by the traditional pizza kiosks found throughout Naples," reads a news release about the opening.

SIMO prides itself on "high quality and affordable Neapolitan pies," offering the pizzas for $9 to $11 depending on the toppings.

Simone was born and raised in Naples, Italy, where he learned how to make Italian dishes from his family. He went on to work at Rossopomodoro in the Flatiron District and West Village before opening the first SIMO pizza in 2018.
Outside of pizza, SIMO also offers pasta, meat and cheese plates, desserts, and gluten-free options for a wide selection of its menu items.
The new restaurant at 75 University Place boasts an 18-seat dining room and a 30-seat outdoor space.
