The suspect allegedly smacked his child on a West Village E train and then threatened a man for calling him out on the abuse.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A furious straphanger smacked his toddler on an E train, then threatened a fellow subway rider with a knife for complaining about the child abuse, police said Sunday.
The suspect was riding with his toddler-aged son in an uptown E train near the West Fourth Street station when he allegedly struck the child at approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 24, authorities said.

Another subway rider, who was on the train with his wife and child, argued with the man about hitting the kid. The unhinged straphanger flew into a rage and shouted a string of profanities at the 45-year-old man and his family. He was caught on camera screaming, "It’s my kid, n-----! Worry about your own kid, n-----!" and repeatedly yelled "suck my d--k," officials said.
Once the train pulled into the station, the brute pushed the stroller off the train but held the train car doors. He pulled out a small knife and continued to shout at the man. The suspect spit at the family through the open train doors before fleeing, the video shows.
