Sleeping Man Fatally Stabbed In West Village Park, Police Say
A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the stomach in the Hudson River Greenway early Tuesday morning, according to police.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man sleeping in a West Village park was stabbed to death early Tuesday morning, police said.
Police found the 34-year-old, who'd been stabbed in the stomach, in the Hudson River Greenway near West and Christopher streets about 4:40 a.m., said the NYPD.
Medics rushed the injured man to Bellevue Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, said police.
