"He supports a vacancy fee to prevent blight, and incentivize landlords to welcome ‘pop-up’ space for artists and start-up entrepreneurs," Bottcher adds on his website. He’ll fight to address ‘minimum rent terms’ in commercial leases, so that landlords can lower rents without running afoul of their lenders.
