Two-Week Arts Festival Coming To Greenwich Village: What To Know
The 2022 Village Trip Festival will include 37 performances, 150 musicians, 43 walking tours, and five lectures.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A 15-day massive Greenwich Village arts, activism, and food festival is returning to the neighborhood in September.
The programming went live for the Village Trip Festival last week, which will run from Sept. 10 to 25, in various locations throughout Greenwich Village and the West Village.
"To uplift, to entertain and to celebrate the arts for all New Yorkers, their families and all people from around the world who come to visit New York City’s special oasis, Greenwich Village," reads the mission statement for the festival.

The festival this year will last two weeks, three weekends, include 70 events, featuring more than 150 musicians, and host 37 popular, classical and new music performances. There will also be 43 walking tours, five topical talks, lectures, and panel discussions.
It is a bigger festival compared to last year's rendition, which stretched for nine days and was specifically aimed at returning foot traffic to the neighborhood after the peak of the COVID pandemic.
