West Village Gets Street Fair Filled Weekend
Street fairs are hitting both Bleecker Street and Washington Square North on Saturday and Sunday.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — West Village residents staying in the city this weekend will have not one, but two street fairs to visit.
That means 16 hours of sauntering, shopping, snacking and people watching.
And in a genuinely considerate scheduling decision, one fair is on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

The Saturday fair is an edition of the many Bleecker Street Fairs that dot the summer weekends. This weekend, the fair will take place on Bleecker Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues.
Last year, the fair hosted more than 265 booths boasting arts & crafts, goods, antiques, food, games plus rides and live music.

If you're not feeling "fair enough," then on Sunday, head over to the Washington Square North Summer Fair, between University Place and MacDougal Street.
Sponsored by the Greenwich House, a neighborhood settlement house founded in 1902, the fair will feature over 160 vendors along the north side of the famous park.
Both fairs will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
