West Village Smoke Shop Robbed At Gunpoint: NYPD
The armed duo fired a gun as they left the Christopher Street shop Tuesday night, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — An armed duo robbed a West Village smoke shop late Tuesday night and fired a gun at least once as they left the store, according to police.
At around 11 p.m., a man entered the smoke shop on Christopher Street near Seventh Avenue and flashed a gun, cops said.
As the armed man demanded the worker hand over goods and cash, a partner-in-crime also entered the store and the pair of crooks rushed behind the store's counter, according to officials.

One of the men demanded a worker hand over a bracelet he was wearing, police said.
After taking an unspecific amount of goods and cash, the pair left the store and fired off at least one shot from a handgun, officials said.

Police investigators found one bullet casing at the scene, according to officials.
No injuries were reported and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
As of Wednesday morning, there was no description of the suspects available.
