West Village Store Will Change Designs On 'Cuomosexual' Sweaters
Lingua Franca NYC is allowing customers to send in previously purchased "Cuomosexual" sweaters and have them redone with a new message.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A luxury clothing store with a location in the West Village sent out a reminder on Wednesday that it will redo the stitching on any "Cuomosexual" or "Cuomo for president" sweaters that were purchased last year.
Lingua Franca NYC, which has a location at 382 Bleecker Street, posted the message to its Instagram on Wednesday offering to redo any previously bought Cuomo sweaters with a new phrase of choice free of charge.
The store posted the reminder that the store will redo any of the "Cuomosexual" or "Cuomo for president" sweaters less than 24-hours after Gov. Andrew Cuomo resigned amid a swirling sexual harassment scandal against him.

However, as Lingua Franca NYC clarified in an update to the post, the popular store offered a redo on its Cuomo merch over five months ago when the first allegations of sexual abuse came out.
"His recent resignation was all over the news and led to multiple people reaching out to ask us about this, hence reposting this offer," Lingua Franca NYC wrote on Instagram. "We believed his accusers at the beginning, and we continue to believe them."
