Location: 304 W. 4th St., West Village

What to eat and drink: St Tropez opened in the Village this week to "celebrate the wine, food and joie de vivre of the South of France," the company said. The restaurant comes from four friends, all of whom hail from France, who are looking to bring the wines and food of their homeland to West 4th Street. The menu offers reasonably-priced options and the wine list includes more than 45 offerings available by the glass.

What to eat and drink: Pasta. A new Italian restaurant is opening on Saturday in the space previously occupied by local favorite Franny's. The focus at Fausto will be on wine, but the food menu includes everything from small bites to heartier Italian meals.

Suzuki and Satsuki Sushi Bar

Location: 114 W. 47th St., Midtown

What to eat: Fufu. This Midtown sushi bar, from the Suzuki Hospitality Group, is adding an unusual item to its menu this week: fugu, a delicacy that's also a deadly blowfish. Satsuki, which opened earlier this year, began serving fugu this week, according to Eater. The fish is imported under strict FDA regulations and is only served after careful preparations of the safe parts of the fish to eat.

Scampi

Location: 30 W. 18th St., Flatiron

What to eat and drink: Seafood. This new Flatiron restaurant comes from PJ Calapa, an alum of the high-end Marea restaurant in Midtown.

Coming Soon, to 30 west 18th street!! #mafaldine #scampi
