Woman Groped At Christopher Street Subway Station, Police Say

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Police are searching for a man who groped a woman's butt at the Christopher Street subway station in December, authorities said.

The NYPD said that the man, who police have not identified, was in the subway station at Seventh Avenue South and Christopher Street on Dec. 8 at about 10:30 p.m. when a 34-year-old woman walked into the station. The man grabbed the woman's butt over her clothing as she entered the platform, police said.

On Tuesday, authorities released a photo of the man and asked for the public's help in identifying and locating him. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a grey jacket.
