Woman Injured During West Village Store Stick Up: Police

The shop worker was hurt as she tried to hold the doors closed when three crooks forced themselves in, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A teenaged employee was injured when three men shoved their way inside a store, police said.

At about 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 19, three men broke through the front door of a shop on Seventh Avenue shop near Charles Street, according to officials.

The worker, an 18-year-old woman, tried to lock the doors as the men forced their way in, police said. Her arms were injured as she attempted to hold the doors shut, officials said.

A NYPD spokesperson said that the trio of crooks stole multiple products from the store and fled on foot.

Police released images of three people they say are connected to the incident.
