- The official number of tornadoes that touched down on Long Island Saturday is now at four: Levittown, East Islip, Shirley and Westhampton. The touchdown here was between Westhampton and Remsenburg. (Patch)

The only Long Island spot in the top 10, Sagaponack, dropped from number two to number three this year. Water Mill was #13 and Bridgehampton went from seventh in 2020 to 31st in 2021.
