Are You Smarter Than East Quogue 6th Graders? See How Southampton Town Police Fared

EAST QUOGUE, NY — Are you smarter than East Quogue sixth graders?

In the style of the popular show, East Quogue sixth graders put their academic skills to the test in an annual fun-filled game of "Are you Smarter Than a Sixth Grader?"

Their game show guests were members of the Southampton Police Department.

"While the police are truly local heroes and the school district is deeply grateful for all that they do, the officers were no match for the sharp minds of the sixth grade students, who once again claimed victory," the district said.

The district added that it would like to thank the officers for being such great sports and for always supporting the local community. The students are already looking forward to next year’s rematch, they said.
