Comedy Classes at the Flanders Youth Center

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be sponsoring Comedy Classes on Tuesdays from 4:00pm – 5:30pm at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road beginning Tuesday, April 5th. This 6 class program will be conducted by Dr. Bernie Furshpan, Executive Director of the NY Hysterical Society. Participants will learn how to write jokes and funny stories, build confidence and overcome stage fright, turn frustration into humor, change situational moods and outcomes, and perform using different stage techniques. At the end of the program, participants will be a part of a performance using what they learned. This program is open to grades 3 – 8 and the registration fee is $20.
