- Lisa Finn reports that a Hampton Bays woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-car crash Wednesday night. Paula Lester, 65, struck a light post at 9:47 p.m. at Skippers Cottages on E. Montauk Highway. (Patch)
- Southampton-based Honor Flight Long Island Honor Flight Long Island resumed its first flight since 2019 last month. Nine World War II veterans were given free, chaperoned flights to the Washington, D.C. war memorial erected in their honor. (Dan's Papers)
- The Daily Voice writes that a Long Island Bloods gang member faces life in prison after being found guilty of murder, forcible rape, sex trafficking, and drug possession. Lawrence Lewis, 38, of Calverton, was convicted Tuesday for the 2017 murder of John Birt, the forcible rape and sex trafficking of a Suffolk County woman and many more charges. (Daily Voice)
