'Erratic Driver' Charged With DWI In East Quogue: PD

EAST QUOGUE, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested Sunday night after he was caught driving while intoxicated, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, at about 9:51 p.m., authorities received a call about an erratic

driver in the area of Maple Avenue in East Quogue. Southampton Town Police responded and found a vehicle matching the description given operated by Jeisson Cardozo-Ramirez, 28, officials said.

Cardozo-Ramirez was found to be driving the vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol, police said. Cardozo-Ramirez was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for arrest processing; he was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DWI and held overnight to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for morning arraignment, police said.
