WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Scott Michael Christ, 70, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Manorville, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with illness.

He was a devoted husband to Dawn Russell Christ, a loving father to daughter Julia (Chris) and son Alec, and a proud, doting Grandpa to his granddaughters, Shay and Hayley. Scott cherished family above all else.

Born on May 26, 1955, growing up in Hauppauge, NY, Scott lived a vibrant life and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Though outwardly stoic and quiet, he was deeply generous, unfailingly humorous, and full of heart. Those lucky enough to know him couldn’t help but love him.

A lifelong thrill-seeker, Scott spent much of his life racing motorcycles and cars, eventually “retiring” to mountain biking. He was a natural problem-solver, earning nicknames like “MacGyver,” “Mr. Fix It,” and “Mad Genius.” If he didn’t have the right tool, he’d invent one. If he didn’t know how to do something, he’d teach himself. He met every challenge with passion, creativity, and a stubborn resilience that defined his spirit.

Scott truly lived life to the fullest — right to the very end.
