HAMPTON BAYS, NY — An expanded playground was recently unveiled at Hampton Bays Elementary School, sure to delight students.

The new playground, in the works since 2022, added new play structures, a fitness course with various obstacles, and a RopeVenture Vertex, the district said. The space also features new benches.
But no worries — favorite parts of the old playground remain, including bridges, slides and rock walls, the district assured.

"The new playground has been a great addition to our physical education program at Hampton Bays," said physical education teacher Vincenzo Battaglia.
