Man Dies In Manorville Crash Saturday Night: Police
The 64-year-old Centereach man did not survive the crash, police say.
MANORVILLE, NY — A Centereach man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash in Manorville Saturday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Schultz Road, between Wading River Manor Road and North Street in Manorville, at about 10:10 p.m
John Callas, 64, was driving a 2011 Ford van northbound on Schultz Road when the vehicle swerved off the roadway and struck a boulder, police said.

Callas was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Ford was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
