Photos: Peconic Baykeeper Launches For The Season

The Peconic Baykeeper is officially back in the water — on Friday, Kevin McAllister, launched his boat, the Kathy, at the Hampton Marine Center in East Quogue.

The launch comes after to save the 40-year-old Kathy, which had fallen into disrepair.

The Baykeeper, which is a non-profit environmental advocacy organization, has been using the Kathy for the past 14 years to patrol the East End's waters.
