Quogue Resident Reports Burglary

Also, two caught driving on drugs, police say.

Editor’s Note: The following information was supplied by the Quogue Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• On Sept. 15, Quogue police charged Michael Potoczek, 31, of Moriches, with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled Potoczek over on County Road 104 for speeding.

• Police charged Annelee Ochel, 59, of Brooklyn, on Sept. 20 with DWI, a misdemeanor, after pulling her over on Montauk Highway for driving on the shoulder at 1 a.m.

• Christopher Martin, 49, of Hampton Bays, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, on Sept. 25. Police said Martin was pulled over at 7:20 p.m. on County Road 104 for speeding. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

• Quogue police are investigating a burglary that was reported on Sept. 21. According to police a resident of Quogue Street reported that sometime between Sept. 3 and Sept. 21 someone broke a glass sliding door and stole $2,900 worth of goods, including a television and a computer.
