Volunteers Wanted: West Hampton Dunes Beach Clean-Up

The Beach Barrier Preservation Association is holding a beach clean-up on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon in West Hampton Dunes.

The association planned the clean-up in conjunction with the Westhampton Free Library as part of Earth Day celebrations and in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of keeping beaches clean.

The association expects that there will be a lot of debris left by Hurricane Sandy to clean-up.

Those interested in helping should meet at 906 Dune Road, Westhampton Dunes.
