WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Seven Westhampton Beach students have made their hometown proud, earning New York State Scholarships for Academic Excellence.

The students qualified for the scholarships based on their "exceptional GPAs and Regents test scores," the district said.
The scholarships can be used toward a New York State institution of higher education.

"The Westhampton Beach School District congratulates students Luke Albert, Nicholas Burruso, Matilda Buchen, Abigail Curran, Fahtima Iqbal, Meghan Pomroy and Zoey Rudolf on this accomplishment," the district said.
