Woman Electronically Stole $3K+ From Quogue Employer: PD

QUOGUE, NY — A Hampton Bays woman, 44, was arrested Tuesday after she stole more than $3K from her Quogue Village employer, police said.

According to Quogue Village Police, Kristin Greene was arrested at about 12:55 p.m. and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

The arrest came after a year-long investigation by Quogue Village Police detectives, following a theft that took place on January 6, 2024 at a Jessup Avenue business, police said.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Greene, an employee at the business, had been stealing money over a several-month period, police said.

She was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday at the Quogue Village Justice Court Tuesday, police said.
