Barraga Attends Masera Moving Up Ceremony

Legislator was awarded a plaque for his support of the school.

Suffolk County Legislator Tom Barraga (R-West Islip) recently attended the moving up ceremony at the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Masera Learning Center.

Eight students received their certificates during the ceremony as they were cheered on by their fellow students, faculty and families.

The Masera Learning Center provides a transdisciplinary program, reflecting the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to address the needs of elementary and middle school students with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Principal Nicole Drinkwater presented a plaque to Legislator Barraga in recognition of his ongoing support.
