Phyllis Chan-Carr, of Sagtikos Manor, will present a hands-on workshop at the library (7-9 p.m.) on how to make a unique holiday decoration called a "Kissing Ball' using boxwood as the greenery material. Each participant must bring a small pair of lightweight garden shears or heavy scissors and a wire hanger.  There's a PAWS meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. inside the Beach Street Middle School library.  Speaking of PAWS, did you go to their event on Sunday?  Send us photos if you have any. Looking for work in the area?  Today we'll have a listing of all open positions that are available in West Islip.  Other school events: HS dance concert (7 p.m.), PTA presidents meeting (7 p.m., district office).
