West Islip residents gathered under unseasonably warm temperatures Sunday afternoon to celebrate the 36th annual Festival of Lights. Held at the confluence of Udall Rd. and Higbie Ln. the event brings together students from throughout the school district, local business leaders, community volunteers and elected officials to officially kick-off the holiday season in West Islip.
