Man Pulled Unconscious From Suffolk Pool In Critical Condition: PD
A man is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a Suffolk County pool on Sunday, Suffolk County police say.
WEST ISLIP, NY — A man was found unresponsive in a West Islip pool Sunday evening, Suffolk County police said.
Police arrived at a West Islip home at 105 Graywood Court around 6 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting that Akinola Johnson, 45, was found unresponsive in the pool, police said.
Family members found him in the pool, pulled him out of the water and performed CPR on Johnson until first responders arrived, police said.

Johnson is a resident of the home, police said.
According to officials, Johnson was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip in serious condition.
