Last night at the BOE planning session, the Board announced that they have decided on school closure option 2a, which will shut down two elementary schools.  . Uh oh kids; it's parent-teacher conference night for all elementary schools.  Hope you took my advice and did extra chores this week.    Other school events: High school chorus concert at 7:30 p.m. Lights on Literature returns to the library with Scott Turow's Innocent.  Join the discussion at 7 p.m. Stay tuned for our Crimes Nearby column, where we post the crime reports of towns directly surrounding West Islip.
