Racial slurs were shouted at Patchogue-Medford players after a basketball game on Friday night against West Islip, according to News12.

WEST ISLIP, NY — Racial slurs were shouted at Patchogue-Medford players after a varsity basketball game on Friday night against West Islip, according to a report from News12.

The outlet said the Patchogue-Medford director of athletics confirmed in a letter that "some fans directed taunts and racial slurs at our players "after a game at West Islip High School."
