Sobriety Tests to Prevent Prom Drinking

Earlier this week, we asked readers to - performing sobriety tests at prom.

Sixty-seven percent of readers agreed that if school officials suspect a student is inebriated at prom, they should administer a breathalyzer or sobriety test.

Marianne Bowden said "Absolutely! No parent needs to get that knock at the door from police for something that is preventable. Better safe than sorry for the rest of you life. I have a few years until my oldest goes to prom and I hope they are still doing it then."

NYS May Ban Anonymous Commenting

We asked readers to that would ban anyonymous comments on the Web, in an attempt to fighht cyberbullying.  

In our poll, forty-eight percent of backed the proposed law, and would prefer commenters to use ther real names.

Thrity-two percent said no way, while twnety percent were unsure how they felt about it.
