Sen. Boyle Announces Children's Earth Day Poster Contest

Theme for Earth Day contest is "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."

Senator Phil Boyle recently announced this year’s New York State Senate Earth Day Celebration featuring a poster contest for children in grade K through six.

The theme of the Earth Day celebration is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”

“Earth Day is an important time to recognize the great strides New York has made in helping to improve our environment,” said Senator Boyle. “This poster competition is a creative way for students to learn about the values and  principles of Earth Day, and demonstrate their commitment to the cause.”

Entries can be photographed and submitted electronically by April 5, 2013. To enter your child's poster, fill out this form on Senator Boyle's website.

All entries will be displayed on Boyle’s website, with the winning poster being featured. Participants will also receive a certificate acknowledging their participation.

“I look forward to seeing all the poster entries from the bright young
students of New York’s 4th Senate District,” said Boyle.
