The West Islip High School boys lacrosse team captured its eighth consecutive county title with a 12-11 overtime victory over Smithtown West. It was the second time this season the Lions defeated the Bulls in overtime. With the win, West Islip added more hardware to an already crowded trophy case, which includes numerous county and Long Island championships along with four New York State titles.
