Now they really have something to cheer about.  The West Islip varsity cheerleading squad finished third at a regional competition at Hofstra last Saturday, Dec. 3, and in the process, earned a bid to compete in the national tournament at Disney in February. "This will be the first time we have ever competed at that level," said head coach Dina Barone." Barone also said that her and assistant coach Reanna Fulton will now look for ways to raise money for their trip and are currently brainstorming ideas.  (If you have any, please share in the comments section below.)  For full roster, see attached PDF.
