Wayback Burgers To Open In West Islip
The national franchise is expected to open in summer 2023.

WEST ISLIP, NY — A national burger chain known for its cheesy burgers and hand-dipped milkshakes is coming to West Islip this summer.
Wayback Burgers, a Conneticut based company, announced a lease-signing on Monday at 425 Union Boulevard, across from the Stop and Shop shopping center, Greater Long Island reported.
The chain was originally founded in Newark, Del., in 1991.

There are currently five other Wayback Burgers locations in New York, including three on Long Island: East Northport, East Meadow and West Hempstead.
The 1,700-square-foot location will offer a lighter and brighter elevated dine-in experience, Greater Long Island reported.

It will also feature a modern kitchen visible through glass windows and a pass-through, Wayback Burgers’ new design allows guests to see their food as it is prepared.
This will be the first Wayback Burgers owned and operated by newly minted franchisees Michael Gallagher and Michael Gallagher Jr., according to the announcement, Greater Long Island reported.
