3 Things to Look Forward To in Williamsburg and Greenpoint This Weekend

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — It's going to be sunny all weekend, with temperatures hovering around 90 degrees. Here are a few ways to enjoy the weather:

1) Community group Los Sures will be hosting a block party on Saturday, July 16 from 12-5 p.m. at the intersection of S. 5th Street and Hewes Street, featuring food, live music, a DJ, Zumba dancing, face painting, prizes and more.

2) There's a free outdoor showing of "Ant-Man" in Transmitter Park on Saturday at 8:30 p.m.

3) Brooklyn Flea will be celebrating National Ice Cream Day (who knew?) with a National Ice Cream Day Bonanza, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once there, you'll be able to order this cookies and cream creation from Blue Marble Ice Cream and The Good Batch:
