  • What? Chashama, an organization that provides artists affordable work spaces, is offering studio tours at it’s largest subsidized studio program located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. “For one weekend only, guests can visit over 80 studios, meet the artists, explore finished art and works-in-progress, and join a tour to experience the rich history of the Brooklyn Army Terminal buildings,” according to the event’s website.

  • Where? Brooklyn Bridge Park, 334 Furman Street
  • What? Brooklyn Bridge Park will be celebrating the second largest holiday celebrate throughout Asia for the first time this Saturday. The website invites guests to “Join us to celebrate the successful reaping of rice and wheat with traditional food and entertainment symbolizing harmony and unity.” Activities will include cultural performances, a children’s lantern parade, Chinese calligraphy and more.

Brooklyn Americana Music Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park

  • When? Saturday, Sept. 26, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Where? Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 3
  • What? As part of this weekends events for The Brooklyn Americana Music Festival, six bands will be playing live Saturday at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The Manhattan Skyline will be the backdrop for the stage, and admission will be free. This year the “2015 line up features Brooklyn Americana bands and special guests from New Orleans, LA, Nashville, TN, and Austin, TX,” according to the event’s website.

Village Voice Brooklyn Pour Craft Beer Festival

  • Where? Brooklyn Expo Center 72 Noble St.
  • What? The Village Voice presents the fifth annual Brooklyn Pour Craft Beer Festival. This year the festival will take place in a new location, the Brooklyn Expo Center, and will feature over 100 different types of beer. Guests will, “sample the best seasonal, micro and reserve brews from breweries located in the country with a pinpointed focus on the tri-state area plus enjoy food, entertainment and more!” according to the event’s website.

The Atlantic Antic

  • When? Sunday, Sept. 27 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Where? Atlantic Avenue from Hicks Street to 4th Avenue
  • What? Come out this weekend to participate in both the oldest and largest street festival in New York, the Atlantic Antic. Stretching ten blocks and spanning four different neighborhoods, the fair always draws a huge crowd. Whether you come for the live music, the many food vendors or stands from local stores and boutiques, there will be plenty to do. “From start to finish, Atlantic Avenue is transformed into a sea of entertainment offering something for everyone,” says the event’s website.

New York City Cannabis Film Festival

  • When? Saturday, Sept. 26, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Where? The Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg
  • What? A selection of seven short films and one full-length documentary, billed as “entertaining and educational films about cannabis” that ”further transform, stimulate change, and share the expanding horizons of cannabis culture in the city of New York.”
