Bougie Greenpoint Credit Card Fraud: Suspects Bought Rolexes, Designer Clothes
Cops are looking for two suspects who allegedly spent tens of thousands of dollars off a woman's stolen card.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — A man and woman committed credit card fraud in Greenpoint and stole nearly $19,000 in Rolex watches and attempted to spend $10,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, cops said. A 34-year-old woman found that her credit card information had been stolen after her bank notified her of suspicious purchases in Nov. 2016, police said. An NYPD investigation found that a woman bought two Rolex watches for $18,889.81 with the victim's credit card information in Greenpoint, and then a man tried to buy $10,000 worth of merchandise at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
Police found surveillance photos of the suspects and are asking anyone with knowledge about the people pictured or the incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
