Michael Che, SNL Actor, To Perform Williamsburg Show For Planned Parenthood
All proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood, and Che will match the donations himself, he said.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Saturday Night Live actor and Weekend Update anchor Michael Che is hosting a surprise secret show at The Knitting Factory in Williamsburg to benefit Planned Parenthood on Monday, Jan. 30. The comedian announced the show on Wednesday night, and all tickets, which cost just $20 each, were sold out by Thursday morning. All of the proceeds from the ticket sales are going to Planned Parenthood, Che said. Che will also match the total amount made from the show.
The Instagram caption says there will be a "top secret lineup," so who knows which SNL stars will make a cameo. Someone on Thursday was selling two tickets to the show on Craigslist for $100 each.

Watch Che talk about feminism on last week's Weekend Update, which he says he believes is "really just someone who believes in equal rights for women, and that's easy to get behind."

"I just think it's weird to give a special name for just being a reasonable person, 'cause that's all it is. Believing in equality just means you're not a d--k," Che says.
