NYPD: Stop These Brooklyn Package Thieves Before They Strike Again
The pair has hit up at least three apartment-building lobbies so far, police say.
A man-and-woman duo are wanted by the NYPD for stealing at least three packages from three different apartment-building lobbies in Williamsburg and Greenpoint in late October.
New surveillance footage released by police shows the male suspect, clear as day, hauling a very large cardboard box that does not belong to him out of one such lobby.

Below, the couple’s rap sheet so far, according to the NYPD.
- On Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., the suspects entered the lobby of an apartment building on Woodpoint Road, within the confines of the 94th Precinct, and removed a package that had been left there, a queen sized bed frame.
- On Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at 2:07 p.m., the suspects pried opened the lobby door of an apartment building on Maspeth Avenue, within the confines of the 90th Precinct, and removed a package that had been left there, green tea and two Magic Props.
- On Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., the suspects were buzzed into the lobby, by an unknown tenant, of an apartment building on Kingsland Avenue, within the confines of the 94th Precinct, and removed a package that had been left there, clothing and home goods.
(It‘s probably unrelated, but while we’re on the topic of package thieves in north Brooklyn: Another apartment building in Bed-Stuy was raided for packages on Oct. 21. In that raid, an dead woman’s ashes, en route to her daughter, were believed to be among the thief‘s stolen goods.)
