"The kid went flying 10 feet like a little rag doll," one witness told the New York Daily News.

UPDATE Tuesday, Jan. 24: Guo Lu was held on $2,500 cash bail Monday night, according to the Brooklyn DA's office. GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — A man with "road rage" driving a Porsche SUV slammed into a 14-year-old boy at a Greenpoint intersection on Sunday night, cops and eyewitnesses said. A little after 6 p.m., 39-year-old driver Guo Lu was fuming that a car was coming out of a parking spot because he wanted to get by, so he slammed the gas pedal and ended up driving onto the sidewalk, hitting the teen, an eyewitness told the New York Daily News.

"When the Porsche hit the kid, the kid went flying 10 feet like a little rag doll. His body hit the sidewalk so hard," 20-year-old eyewitness Eryk Kobuk told the Daily News.

Emergency responders transported the boy to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition, the FDNY said. Cops told the Daily News he was expected to survive his injuries. Lu was arrested on the scene and charged with reckless endangerment and an unsafe lane change, cops confirmed to Patch.
