Repaving Work Will Close the Outer Roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge
The outer roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge will be fully closed during two upcoming nights, and partially closed for a four-day span.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Attention motorists: the outer roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge will be fully closed on the nights of Aug. 19 and Aug. 26 for repaving. On both days, the closures will start at 11 p.m. and run until 10 a.m. the following day. If it rains on those nights, the closures will take place on Aug. 20 and 27.
Additionally, one lane of the roadway will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the nights of Aug. 22, 23, 24 and 25.
On all of these nights, trucks will be diverted over the Manhattan Bridge. However, pedestrians and bikers won't be impacted by the road work.
