Vegan Pizzeria Opening Monday in Greenpoint
Screamer's Pizzeria will be serving $2 slices all day to celebrate.
GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — A vegan pizza shop is opening its doors Monday with $2 slices from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Screamer's Pizzeria, located at 620 Manhattan Ave. (the former location of Champs Junior) is the joint effort of Champs Diner and Blackbird Pizzeria, a vegan-friendly slice spot in Philadelphia.
It will serve up slices and whole pies, in both regular and Sicilian styles.

While the menu is still being finalized, a spokeswoman told Patch that Hawaiian-style pies will be offered, along with garlic knots, salads and calzones.
Toppings will include including "seitan pepperoni, homemade almond ricotta, and caramelized onions."

After Monday, slices will run between $3 and $4.25. Here are some of your future options, courtesy of Screamer's:
